How a Disaster Drill is performed in Japan (2) ?

FIRST AID, EQUIPMENTS, LIFELINES
Here we go again! First training was about medical treatment. Participants were divided into groups and gather in the hall of the evacuation shelter. Here we practised first aid.

Then we looked at the disaster equipments and had a chance to try them by our own. Here we practiced with fire extinguishers, learning how to use electrical generator (in case no electricity in a disaster events). We also had been introduced about stocks that necessary to be prepared in our everyday life, in case an earthquake happened. There were canned foods that lasting for few years (there were canned noodles, breads, cakes, and rice were available), canned drinks and water.

These are necessary stocks that the municipal government encourages its citizens in order to prepare for an earthquake.
